We spent the weekend at a summer house with a bunch of friends. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed – there was nothing we had to do, just spending time together and enjoying each other's company. We went for walks in the area, had a barbecue one evening and homemade pizza the next. Good food, good laughs, and lots of small, quiet moments.
We had brought a good selection of our Yama teas, and they naturally came out when we were sitting around and unwinding. A few of our friends were curious, and we ended up talking a bit about the different types of tea – what makes them unique and how we like to drink them. It felt nice to share a bit of what we work on every day, in a very relaxed setting.
One of our friends mentioned she usually only drinks black tea. But after trying both Milky Oolong and White Exotic, she was surprised by how much she liked them. She had a bad experience with green tea years ago and just stuck to what she knew. It was great to see how being open can lead to new tastes.
Ville was with us the whole weekend, and he did really well. He enjoyed being around both old and new people – and it was lovely to see him become part of the group.
All in all, it was a quiet, relaxed, and really cozy weekend. Great people, simple surroundings – and a bit of tea on the side. Yes, the picture shows Cola, but dont worry, we really did have plenty of tea moments!
