Yama Tehus offers organic tea in tea bags, both for private consumers and business customers. For individuals, we sell small packages through our webshop, while businesses may request larger quantities or wholesale orders. Shipping methods vary depending on the nature of the order – more details are provided below.

Suspected Unauthorised Transactions

If you notice any unauthorized charges on your payment card after shopping with Yama Tehus, please contact your card provider or bank immediately. If they confirm that misuse of your card details occurred in connection with your transaction with us and impose a deductible, please inform us right away so we can assist.

Ordering and Payment

All prices listed on our website include VAT and applicable duties within Denmark. The prices shown reflect daily market rates.

The price listed at the time your order is placed is the price that applies to your purchase. Yama Tehus cannot be held responsible for typographical errors, pricing mistakes, VAT or tax changes, stock shortages, or delivery issues from our suppliers.

Order Confirmation

Once your order has been successfully placed, you will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive this confirmation within one hour, please contact us by email. A new email will also be sent when your order has been dispatched.

Purchases through our webshop are made in Danish. If you require a new copy of your order confirmation, you are welcome to request one via email at oli.skjold@gmail.com.

Payment Options

We offer multiple secure payment methods. For the safest and most straightforward checkout, we recommend using a payment card.

When paying with a card, the payment will not be withdrawn from your account until the goods have been shipped from our facility. Please note: While we can reduce the payment amount if a product is unavailable or cancelled, we can never charge more than the initially approved amount.

Delivery Time

All teas shown in our webshop are in stock unless otherwise stated. Orders are normally packed and dispatched within 24 hours on business days. For shipments within Denmark, you can typically expect delivery within 1–2 business days. For international orders, the expected delivery time is 3–5 days.

Orders are processed in the order they are received. Please allow for slightly longer delivery times during sales, holidays, or other peak periods. Any changes in delivery times will be clearly stated on our site.

Shipping Costs

We offer free delivery to a GLS parcel shop within Denmark for orders over 399 DKK. Shipping for orders under this threshold starts at 29 DKK, depending on the delivery method selected.

You may choose between parcel shop pickup (without delivery) or home delivery (with delivery). All shipments include a Track & Trace number so you can monitor your parcel's journey from our location to yours.

Right of Withdrawal & Returns

When purchasing from Yama Tehus, you have a 14-day right of cancellation, effective from the day you receive your order. If you decide to return an item, you must notify us clearly by email within 14 days.

Please note that the cost of returning items is your responsibility. We do not accept parcels sent cash on delivery (COD).

To retain your right to a full refund, the product must only be handled as it would be in a physical store. You may examine the product, but it must be returned in the same condition and packaging.

Important:

• We do not accept returns of tea products where the seal is broken or the packaging has been opened.

• If a product has been used, and it cannot be resold, a partial or no refund will be issued depending on the product's reduced resale value.

• If the product is no longer of commercial value, no refund will be given.

• You bear the responsibility for the item from the moment of delivery and must ensure secure packaging when returning it.

You may not cancel your purchase simply by refusing delivery – clear written notice must be provided.

Event Cancellations (If Applicable)

In the event that Yama Tehus hosts tastings, workshops, or other in-person or virtual events, we reserve the right to cancel due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances.

If an event is cancelled, and you hold a valid ticket, you will be fully refunded. We are not obliged to reschedule or replace the event.

Event tickets are non-refundable, and dates cannot be exchanged. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to give your ticket to someone else.

Complaints and Warranty

In accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act, all purchases come with a 24-month warranty. This warranty covers manufacturing defects or faults present at the time of delivery.

If you believe your product is defective or incorrect, please notify us as soon as possible – and no later than two months after discovering the issue – by emailing info@yamatea.dk.

If the complaint is valid, we will reimburse your reasonable return shipping costs. Please include a detailed explanation of the problem and ensure the product is returned in protective packaging.
